This explains what we collect when you order a song, why, and who we share it with to deliver your order.
The details you enter to create a song: the recipient's name, the description and memories you write, the favorite artist, genre, production style, and language, and the recipient's email address. If you buy a lyric sheet, we also process the related order details.
Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details — only confirmation from PayPal that an order was paid.
We use the details you provide solely to generate your song or lyric sheet, deliver it to the recipient's email, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
To fulfill an order we share the relevant details with: PayPal (to process payment), a third-party AI music-generation provider (to create the song from the details you submit), and an email-delivery provider (to send the finished song and any receipts). These providers process the data only to perform their part of the order.
We email the recipient to deliver the song you purchased. We do not add recipients to any marketing list or contact them for unrelated reasons.
We use a single session cookie for security (to protect the checkout form against cross-site request forgery). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We keep order details for as long as needed to deliver your order, provide support, and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

GiveASong is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
